Just a few of the new ribbons that have been added to the site during the last few days.

I created this layout using one of the new Craft Queen ribbon cards. You get 5 metres of gorgeous ribbon to play with.
I've used mine as a border on the photo and then machine stitched the corners.
The lettering is American Craft Thickers (foam) which I used a black pen to outline them with (got this idea from Nina....thanks Nina!). The border is a mixture of rub-ons and sewing. One of my favourite embellishments, beaded brads by K & Co finishes it off!

Autumn

Today I went for a drive and took some photos of the gorgeous trees around Orange, as their leaves change colours. I think I was a couple of days late as many trees have begun to loose their leaves. Here are a few of my favourites.

Last night I invited some friends over to scrap - it seems to be the only way I actually make time for myself to create. I created this layout using some products that I love - the big scenic route arrows, making memories journaling pages, a wide black and white spot ribbon and of course some rub-ons!

Birthday cards

I made some cards with the new Basic Grey Sultry paper pad. This paisley paper is my favourite. Of course, I used my new cuttlebug as well!


I stamped the bird on a transparency and then used paint behind the image to make it a cute hot pink bird! I also used the stamping up punch to cut the scallop out of green paper. (Thanks for reminding me I had that Lis!)

SIA NEWS

SIA was a trade show held in Sydney on Tuesday and Wednesday. Businesses and media from all over Australia and New Zealand attended. I was there with my wholesale range of ribbons, buttons, flowers etc. Here's a photo of my booth.



The BIG news of the show is that Belinda McGregor, from our very own design team, won the Individual Designer of the Year Competition. She created a gorgeous layout of her youngest son who had fallen asleep at the kitchen table on his plate! Of course, she used gorgeous Craft Queen ribbons and chipboard from Scrapware.

This competition was open to anyone working on a design team and she beat some well known people!! Her layout will be published in the 'For Keeps' Magazine and she will be doing some design work for them as part of her prize. We are all very proud and excited!

Thanks to all the girls on my design team for their gorgeous layouts and mini albums used on display. Once again, there was lots of great feedback about your beautiful work!

Cuttlebug cards
