I have my laptop on my knee so I thought I would share some of the cards I made last weekend.

This is the first time I have used the AL background stamps and I am in love with them! I have also used the jumbo red ric rac which is lots of fun. The papers are Kaiser. I have used little clear, round gems as well.

Photo Challenge

Here is my photo -it is of my spare room. I actually sold this sofa bed the other day and now have a queen size bed in there. I made the quilt on the back of the lounge and it used to be in my spare room in Hong Kong!

My favourite new things

While I was in Canberra recently, I purchased these two items which I totally love!


How great is this planner??!! I picked it up at a newsagency for $7.95 and it is huge . I LOVE writing lists so this is perfect for me.......if I don't get it done one day, I just move it accross to the next!


And this is my new camera. I needed a camera that was more suitable for high quality close up photos for the web (yes I did ATO!) I found the service and staff at Ted's Camera House in Canberra fantastic so I happily purchased it there!

My Christmas present

Mum made this gorgeous quilt for me for Christmas. I love it!

A simple card using SEI dill blossom range of papers, some stitched ribbon and Teresa Collins stamp.

My word for 2009....................ME

Last year it was balance and although I don't think I achieved all I set out to achieve, I did make some head way! Well 2009 is for me. Just me -no baggage! Continue to loose weight, take time for myself, read more, go away for weekends. Yes it is all about me!

Collections....

Every year at Paperific, mum does the make and takes at Collections. Julie and the girls are great and really look after her (she is not really a papercrafter!). Each year we buy a huge stash of products and TODAY we used them for the first time. Mum made up my tile, which was the make and take last year (they give me a goodie bag as I am too busy to do it at the show!!). Then we made up these gorgeous calenders which we are going to use as birthday reminders (mum decided they were too nice to just have for 1 year! LOL)
